Our intention for speaking and listening is for pupils to confidently express their opinions, articulate their feelings and listen and respond appropriately in a range of situations. We teach our children to proactively participate across different groups of children, and to present their ideas with clarity whilst demonstrably valuing the views of others. We build skills so that children can speak audibly and confidently before an audience.
