At St. Helen’s we are committed to ensuring the best possible outcomes for every individual child and we believe this is best achieved when teachers, parents and staff work together.
Below is our Working Together Agreement, this sets out exactly what you can expect from the staff working with your children and what the staff expect in return from parents and pupils.
Working Together Agreement
Aims
In accordance with our ethos we set high expectations and aim to equip every child with the social skills and attitudes that will remain with them for life. We provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment where children achieve well and enjoy their learning. We are committed to the development of the ‘whole’ child as an integral member of the school community where all members are expected to uphold our agreed core values as follows:
Core Values
Respect we consider the thoughts and feelings of others
Endurance we try our best and persevere even when we find things difficult
Compassion we treat others as we would like to be treated, we are thankful
Courage we try new things and take calculated risks, even if we are afraid
Trust we have faith in our friends and the people who help us
Resilience we recover quickly from difficulties and learn from our experiences
This is most effective when all staff, parents and children understand their responsibilities and work together towards the same goals.
