The School Day

Our School Day – In on time, learning by 9!
8.40am The gates open and children independently come into classrooms.
At this time children can organise themselves, put bags and coats away and get on with early learning tasks.
8.50am Registration Starts.
If you arrive after this time then you will need to bring your child to the front entrance and sign them in as the school gate will be locked.  If you arrive after 9.00am, you will need to sign your child in as late.
9.00am – 11.00am Children start their learning.
11.00am – 11.15am Morning Breaktime
11.15am – 12.15pm Learning Session
12.15pm – 1.15pm Lunch
1.15pm PM Registration
1.20pm – 3.15pm Afternoon Learning Session
3.15pm End of the school day.
Key Stage 1 children are handed to parents and carers by teachers and school staff.
Key Stage 2 pupils exit the school via cloakrooms and will find their parents and carers.
If you give permission for children to walk home themselves, this needs to be received in writing to the main office. If you are going to be later collecting your child, please phone the school office so a message can be sent to your child.  Children must always wait on the playground with their class teacher unitl they are collected.
